Rohan Jaitley, the President of the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA), recently visited the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, offering praise for the Uttar Pradesh government's arrangements. During his visit, Jaitley highlighted the impressive facilities set up by the local administration, emphasizing how smoothly the event has been managed despite the usual traffic congestion caused by the large number of attendees.

Speaking to the media, Rohan Jaitley expressed his satisfaction with the overall experience, noting that the administration had provided top-notch facilities for the millions of devotees who attended the event. “The management of this spiritual gathering is commendable, and while there is some traffic, it's a small inconvenience given the magnitude of the event,” Jaitley said.


The 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela has set a new global record, attracting more than 500 million participants. The event, which began on January 13, 2025, is set to conclude on February 26, 2025. As one of the largest spiritual and cultural gatherings in the world, it has drawn devotees from all corners of the globe to partake in the sacred rituals at the Triveni Sangam.


Additionally, the Uttar Pradesh Police took swift action against 54 social media accounts spreading misinformation and rumors related to the event. This included false claims about a fire incident at the Maha Kumbh Mela, which were later debunked.


With the ongoing success of the Maha Kumbh Mela, the event remains a significant highlight for spiritual gatherings globally.
